Re: 2000 GTV exhaust found

Hi James, mine's a 1968 Mk1, I bought it last Christmass (Dec 2003), from a Family up in The Lake District, who had owned it since 1970.
It's in good running order and the upper Body is fairly rust free. Underneath she has some problems and will need some welding on the Boot floor and the the front Chassis rails, eventually most of the floor will probably need doing but that's a couple of years off yet.
They are certainly fun to own and drive, I am still getting to know her properly, and haven't explored the Handling any where near the limits yet.
The Engine is a lovely unit, and pulls lustily right round to 6000RPM, I has suprised how much torque there was, after driving modern 16 Valvers for 8 Years or more.
I have posted various photo's in the image and 105 series lounges, look for the White one.
