Check the catch part on the car (not the door) the part that engages with the lock on the door has a screw going into it. Check it hasn't come loose.
If it does the middle part will turn and it can end up in a position where the door won't shut fully.
Symon, do you mean collar part comes loose or the gold bar with the torx?
On mine on the passenger side, i cant lock the door manually it goes halfway and then springs back (key or door pin) and the door creeks for a couple a seconds after being shut.
The collar part is quite loose but i cant seem to tighten it (only tried a small wrench so far though, is it t35?)
