Hi.

A few weeks ago I became one of you.
I have changed my Fiat Grande Punto for a new Alfa 159 1.9jtd TI.
I am pretty happy with the change

Although I have the Brembo brakes, they seem a bit weak to me and I want to upgrade my brake pads.
Can someone tell me that from which version will the brake pad suit to my car.
(I think the 2.4 jtdm has the exactly same brakes but I am not sure)

Thank you for all your info.

I have a Lusso - and its the first car I've owned where the pads and the discs seem to be wearing out at the same rate! Is it the pads that are hard or the discs that are soft?

lol - going to be expensive one day soon

My standard brakes withstood a track day last week but are squeeky & a bit soft this week. Time for the PF's soon me thinks!

Red stuff are fast road pads and green stuff are low dust pads, yellow are fastroad\track pads. I'd always take the Ferrodo DS2000/2500 pads. I use them in all my track cars and they are very very good. I also have them in my road lotus (no servo) and they are equally happy there.
