I've looked at this probably every day for the last 3 weeks. It looks like an absolutely perfect example and if it was August (when I turned 25 and can be insured on the car by Direct Line) I wouldn't hesitate in at the very least going to look at it.
Tis mine!
Only 1 person has come to see it has said he will be buying. He wanted to put a deposit down but I didn't take it. He's coming back in 2 weeks time and if he doesn't..................I won't loose no sleep Though the neighbours might!!!!!!
Thanks guys
If I could find the money or sell some things I would be down tomorrow to buy it, its a stunning car kept in stunning condition. You should be proud!!!
It's a car that has had everything done that needs doing, plus some very nice extras, and I'm sure it's worth every penny. Best of luck with no.47
Humm i was hatching a plan to buy that one:lol: Pity i took too long about it: Well done alfakenny, nice car and look forward to seeing your next car Big D:thumbs:
i actually saw the car b4 i saw this thread and yeah the car is lovely i am over the moon i have looking for one of these since b4 christma this one is something special
Owners of his local garage changed, and he didn't trust the new guys to work on his bella I think. Oh, and possibly money burning in his pocket for a Maserati??
Yep thats right. My Giro is burning a hole in my Shell suit!
The take over of the garage is part of the reason why I'm selling but feel Maserati is next itch to scratch and have had my fun with the Cup. This is/was my 3rd Alfa GTV/Spider, my 1st car was a 98 Spider and I don't think it will be the last.
I will always look on 47 with fond memories as with all other cars I have owned and driven.
Plus you guys are just great
It's a joke. Think it was a quote from the good ol Phoenix Nights!
GranSport and seems like the GS prices are on the cheeky way up but you can never tell with Maserati.
1 min your car is 35k and the next 20k!! My safe money would be on a 3200 but like all things Italian. You by with the heart and not the brain!
I spoke with Alfa Aid about the 3200. Adrian there said he loved them but they can cost £10k per service if you're unlucky. The back box is £1200 alone, and if one of the turbos go you're looking at big money again. He advised the 4200 over the 3200, but I've heard owners complain that the power is a bit of a let down (or delivery of power) if you're trading up from a 3200, and I think the 3200 looks better too. It's a real risky car, a 'playing with fire' purchase... Oh, and watch out for rust on them too. I'd still like one though!
