I don't know about you, but I like the little LEDs that Audi put on the R8. Ever since, alot of people have been accessorizing their cars with LEDs. Most of the time, they use some tacky stick-on LED strips and look way over done.
I did a search to find out of there are such lights for my car and found these....
They come in black and chrome finish.
The links I provided show pics of the them installed on 156.
They're not to everyone's taste. For me, I kinda like the effect on the Audi's and I wouldn't mind using these rather than those tacky add-on LEDs.
I know one thing. It will make my car unique.
I really don't understand that statement tbh. Making an Alfa look like an Audi should involve alot more than just changing the headlights.
I agree though. Its a shame that the standard lights on the 156 are dull.
my honest opinion is...........they are naff, dont even like them on the audi's. Really bad design just like lexus lights.............wont be long until all the saxos and corsas are wearing these lights
Hmm I don't know. They are much better than some of the tacky stuff on some cars, but I'd like to see the whole front of a 156 with these switched on before I decided. The R8 looks pretty good with them on but some of these side lights in other Audi models look a bit cheap and tacky to be honest, like christmas light strings in 1980's shop windows. I just don't know whether it will work, but it could do. Probably give your car a lift and certainly look different.
I've got a spare set of 156 lights lying around, I might do it to them and see if I like it ... although the MOT side of it is a worry, as I'd replace the side lights with the LEDs ...
that shouldn't make any difference, my understanding was that they have to be shining white light and be visible and not obstructing the headlamp or main beam pattern
That's just wrong. Looks totally out of place. But I think I am not the first to make that comment. Plenty of ways to update the 156, this is not one of them.
Oh the horror :vomit: Just buy an Audi if you want those lights.
