Thanks for the help lads,the bird is now back and going like a good un!! temp dont go above 50 now but i know how to sort that one out. would have liked to go to Lloyd but it would have cooked it by then.Just goes to show how good he is,he told me last spring it needed doing.Most gods can see into the future.
Almost all of the Alfa's (and Fiats) I have owned have needed a new thermostat at some point.
They are not that good.
