I very nearly did the first event in a Subaru Justy. Unfortunately our sponsor had more hot air and get rich quick schemes than money. When I spoke to the founder of this type of Endurance event before the event he said he would consider letting a Sud run as it was a boxer engine and would like something different.
Perhaps he will have changed his mind by now. Once revving though I used to think the single carb engines were as quick anyway. They were just slower on pickup.
If I ever go into historic events a Sud is on the list.
