You cant have rules that are in a 'grey' area in any sport. These rules need to be black and white and clear cut. This is especially true when the sport in question is supposed to be the top gun of racing with the crème de la crème at the wheels. Being able to change a decision on a whim because the rules are not clear enough to prevent it happening does nobody any favours at all. F1 needs to get it's act together before the top names of the sport walk away.
Agreed, but in my opinion it was pretty black and white prior to Spa. If you gain an advantage or a place by cutting a chicane, then you give that place back.
I think now we have a bigger grey area than ever before.
