Am massively proud of them. I must admit when I heard that our aim was to finish in the top 4 of the medals table in 2012 I scoffed. We're nowhere near that level (I, like most people believed)
But to beat that, 4 years early, is astounding.
I only hope it doesn't lead to disapointment in 2012, realistically 3rd is abuot as good as it can get, China and the US are just too dominant. Lets hope for more medals though!!!
(and please lets try not to write off 2012 with all the negative stuff. I for one think it will be a success, and an event to be proud of. We're just a nation of moaning minnies
