hi dougie,

when i was in london to get my GTV ECU remapped at Autodelta, jano (the boss of autodelta) took me for a spin in his 147 turbo. I think it was a 1.6 turbo but i assure you its a totally different beast. its acceleration was awesome comparable to a GTA.......personally i think its a good upgrade.
the downside is that they need at least 10 days to do the complete job.
