Will take time to assess the fix against various UK and European compliances. Hopefully, something will come out in the near future (a few months). Thought I'd add my 2penn'orth. As I work as a det for alfa/fiat I come across these problems. Though in this case the dealers are currently unable to offer a solution it is important that any of you suffering take your vehicle to your dealer. Insist that the vehicle is road tested with a technician or preferably the dealer DET so you can demonstrate the problem. Ask the dealer to submit a product report to alfa Uk (and ask for a copy as proof they have done it!). The more product reports that alfa uk receive the greater the chance that italy will respond with a fix.
