there, i knew i'd attract your attention jomor wink wink
onto the point.. today i spent nearly a whole day playin around with the alfa,.. and i removed the manifold cover which i was blaming for the noises. well guess what, the noises not only stayed there, but could be heard even louder
which means that i probably have the same problem as jomor. but our cover has met with the ground a couple of times before so that may be the reason. in fact i had to replace the cover a while ago.
is it possible that the noise is coming from the cat, maybe it's broken or something..
if not it must be the manifold. is this expensive? or could it be the gasket?
i tried tightening the bolts but they were all ok apart from two of them. i tightened them but it stayed the same...
