Cheers Cloverleaf - and for the DVD tip. Regarding the "hot" set up - the manual expalin that it has 4 standard set ups you can switch between from the remote. One is "dynamic" and it admits this is a default for brightly lit showrooms but works in a bright room! It also has Cinema (darker rooms), Eco (auto adjusts according to ambient light) and Normal (what it says on the tin)
