Re: I've Never Polished My Car

no its not that people like to diss Autoglym, just that if you use just say the SRP , it has fillers and some cars don't need a polish with fillers, plus it will not last as long as a sealant or wax like 476, i love SPR and use it a lot but never without a coat of sealant on top and a coat of wax.

lots of there range is top dollar but for that perfect finish that will last and sheet water using the watering can technique (which means it almost drys by its self leaving you just a few water droplets to soak up with a drying towel)

I used Autoglym for years and still use some of there products but after trying other products i would never not prep and seal the paintwork and use a top draw LSP, AG SRP is just a single stage in a 4-5 stage process.

Its not just the finished result its the durability you get from sealants and LSP's and the watering can technique after using these products makes for washing your car a sinch ! normally you have loads of water to dry , where as my cars and bikes are almost dry and only need a microfibre to just get the last few droplets of the car "thats the difference.

Autoglym bumper stuff is brill !
Autoglym UDS is no where near as good as 476 !
I also like Autoglym tyre shine as well !

So hope that proves no ones dissing Autoglym, but for paint protection and super tough finish there are better products.
