I have tried something different with my TS. I took off the inlet to the airbox, which is the part which would be replaced by the V6 version. This is a large box with baffles in it. It is basically designed to funnel air into the airbox and reduce the noise on full throttle.
First I ran it just like this - too loud. Then I removed the plastic tube from the inside of the baffle box. This is like a perforated tube. Still a little bit too loud. Next I fitted the baffle material back over the plastic tube. Now I have a nice induction roar under full throttle and maybe a bit more power - all for free.
