What a bunch of cynics! the good old days? how old do you think I am? I m talking about now, just because you dont see or hear about the results and success doesnt mean it is not happening!!!!!!!!!!!! I am in the now and for every terrorist attack you know about there are approximately 5 that are stopped you dont know about, you ungrateful whinging people! try enjoying your freedom and assisting maybe? I m shocked at the negativity and yet not shocked at the same time. people are either complaining or lethargic.
Not sure if it is worth dying for this country as some soldiers and police have done over the years.
I m very disappointed with the negativity. I believe 42 days and an orange jump suit might just do the trick with some people. There are some amazing people in this country doing amazingly positive things for their communities and too many of us focus on the apparent total badness of this country. You are perfect for the media, they love you.Become amember of the TA or a Special copper or CSO and experience the other side or at least give back and you might have a better outlook on it all. Better still move to Zimbabwe or Iraq or Afghan etc and experience real hardship.
Please please see the positive side or at least blame the crims and thieving chavs rather than those who are trying to make it safe here!
