Well, First I had better introduce myself. My names James and this weekend I had the experience of picking up my 147 GTA.
She's a 2004 Model Year, 32K Full Alfa Service History and I fell in love the moment I drove her. I looked at a couple of other red examples and despite them having a similiar mileage, they felt well - 'driven hard'. This one just felt so tight and its just like it has come from the factory. I'm just delighted.
I know I won't be delighted at the fuel bills but, its a sacrifice you can make when you are driving something so special. I got a price reduction, 6 months tax thrown in and a 5k cover warranty for a year from the dealer too who specialised in prestige cars.
I've already been on this website a bit before I said 'yes' to the deal and found out she has the larger calipers which was a relief. However there is no documented cambelt change (in the wod of paper work I was presented), so its time to start saving for that next.
Anyway a few pics :

Being only just 23 and owning this is just a dream

Was kind of a first job present from my mum so a massive thank you to her.
I've owned an Italian car since the age of 17 (Fiat Seicento with a 16valve Punto Engine conversion) **I'm not a boy racer lol** and am a regular at the AutoItalia meetings. It would be a privilege to meet some of you at Stanford Hall, whoever is in attendance. Is it ok if I come and park with some of you guys?
Regards, James
