Nah. You buy a GT-R because it is a GT-R. Baked beans are baked beans; but once you've decided you want steak for lunch, nothing else will do.
You come to a Z350 either because a) you want one b) you chewed over the BMW equivalent, the TT and maybe even the Brera, but decided that actually the Zee ticks most boxes.
That, I doubt, is an elimination/selection process that goes through the mind of the Skyline buyer - the car is a myth as much as anything else, not just a commuter coupe.
Styling-wise, i like the Z. That said it has some terribly crude detailing on its delicate shape. The shape's fine, but a word needs to be had with the people that did:
- the door handles
- the front lights
- the lights in the rear bumpers
but i like the 350Z a lot and i can only imagine that a bigger capacity engine will only serve to make an already lovely car even more likeable.
