If the car is mainly motorway miles or driven very gently it will last longer.
Admittedly quite a few of those miles were motorway, but also a lot of Derbyshire country roads driven ... erm ... enthusiastically
What I haven't done a lot of is town driving, drag starts at the lights, lots' of on and off the clutch??? Once moving I've generally had a clear run to the office over the years - which has been excellent in this car

Might explain it.
