I would never, ever let mine get to such a state, nor any other part of my car, this just re-inforces the addage that you get what you pay for, luckily for yourself the rest of the car you bought was pretty good.
This is isn't a dig at yourself or your car but just to point out that when people see a 'cheap' gta on ebay or similar and then go and say that that is all they are worth they are missing the point of more expensive but well looked after cars. (and I know you are taking very good care of your car
