GTV bottom end shells

I have recently put a replacement head on one of my GTV'S after the original plastic tensioner broke up (ouch) Everybody take ten mins to remove you're cam cover and check that you have a metal cam belt tensioner which should be silver and not a black plastic one! mine broke up a couple of weeks before i was going to change the belts and tensioners Any how with a new head fitted the car now runs nicely but i do need to change the bottom end shells just to be on the safe side, Has anyone else done this and are there any tips or knacks to doing it, (all sensible replies will be gratefully received)
