My old TS was mapped to run on 98. It certainly gave more BHP on the rolling road than standard 95.

OK, first off we arent talking about your old TS, were discussing the GTA ECU. As far as asking Jano - why? Jano hasnt claimed (anywhere that I can see) that your car is mapped for 98 RON fuel - you did...
Jano only claims:

Pure fiction of course (10-12 bhp) and not backed by any actual proof (ie a before and after graph on the same RR) so taken with a pinch of salt usually...
