I got pulled a week ago for 'illegal plates' the fact i had a symbol on the side wasn't the issue it was the letter spacing so it spelt my name and the well placed screw that they frowned upon
. They had been on for two years without a problem but i guess the fact i was speeding attracted there attention initially
, luckily for me though the copper that pulled me used to own a GT and was more interested in the car so i got off without a fine for both or points for the speeding, my lucky day!!!! Just a producer and had to change the plates back to properly spaced ones.
Apparently though the dvla are having a big crack down on illegal plates
