ON the ECU's - The Engine uses an ECU and the Gearbox a seperate ECU. I've had trouble with my engine ECU an tried fitting a 156 Manual ECU - immediately the gearbox light came on. So I believe the Engine ECU is different from Manual to Automatic - You therefore would not be able to run an manual ECU on sportronic- don;t know hte other way around? Maybe it will limit the revs? Can't tell... Hope this helps
