I was just wondering what the value of a mint fully restored 75 2.5L V6 Cloverleaf is in UK £s. I can't find the information on the net anywhere.
The reason I ask is that i've fairly recently picked up a dark green 75 for £250 and I like the car so much I was thinking of restoring it.
The bodywork is very good ( no Rust at all ! ), but some small areas are looking faded. So full respray needed I guess.
Interior - seats need new material as they are threadbare to say the least ! I've put leather effect covers on for now, looks smart at least. All dials, switches, lights, heater, alfa control, etc all working perfectly.
Mechanics - power steering not working ( fluid leaks, previous owner tried a repair kit but it didn't work ! ), otherwise all runs well.
So the bottom line is how much for a ball park figure to restore the car ( I know its hard to tell without seeing the car ! ), but please humor me and give me an idea
. Also how much I could insure it for ( can I set the insurance value myself ? ).
It just seems such a shame to let the car deteriorate any more as its a great car to drive and comfortable as well. They also appear to be rare as well.
