Guys...I am wanting to recondition the rear tail light assemblies...I aquired original Carello series 1 NOS lenses from some time ago in the USA but need to prepare the tail light housing.
These seem to be made of cast aluminium and I have removed the reflector shields for re-chroming, but it appears that the 3 slots that fit bulb housing have been damaged (see photos)...
Does anyone know if there a way to repair this?
Also is there a process that I can treat these once repaired so they dont suffer the white layer of surface corrosion?
