Not quite sure what that looks like, get a picture and post it back in this thread, either way make sure you have a at least one cold air feed that can supply cool/cold atmosphere to the induction kit - otherwise your suffer heat soak and a dip in performance.

Ok so the first one:
You won't lose any horse power by removing the centre box, but you might see a small (and I mean you'd have to dyno it) dip in torque but you won't notice.
And secondly your def get a more aggresive exhaust note from a single box system. As for vibrations you might have been told about stainless steel systems which resotate more than a mild steel system but I won't worry about that.

The choice is yours but I wont expect to get much more bhp out of a 1.8. A litely tuned 1800 with good breathing mods like mentions might be able to keep up with or even out perform a 2000 but I wont expect much more out of it.
