Just Heard of this Board from AlfaBB.com

While reviewing new posts on the Alfabb.com board, I found out that miesrt's car is in the running for the car of the year or such. Decided to check out this board also. Can't have enough Alfa boards to distract me from work or actually working on my cars.

I have two 1967 Duettos that I'm (slowly) in the process of converting into one decent driver (not a concours trailer queen by any means). One of the cars I purchased in the late 70's when it was "just an old sports car." Unfortunately, the body is pretty much toast. I also disassembled the car to begin restoration, but then met my future wife and with kids and all, that project stalled big time. A few years ago, I purchased another Duetto from CA with a decent body, but the interior, etc. are toast (also the brakes and electrical as I found out after I purchased it). But it was a good deal and I knew (for the most part) what I was getting into.

Last summer, I also purchased a 164Q to have an Alfa that I could actually drive. It has been my daily driver in the summer since I purchased it. (I stored it this winter, and will continue to do so!) I am currently doing "resto mods" on this car to make it into the car it should have been. Added 17" wheels with Michelin PS2's, which really made a difference in the handling. Am planning on Euro lights before the convention. (BTW, hope to see you there!).
