The oil cooler will also add extra weight to the front - not a great deal but a few kgs as you really need to move the oil filter location too.
Have you got photo's of the take-off plate and the pipework to the remote filter mount and the cooler itself? I think a high-flow coolant pump is probably the route I'd go down but I'd like to see how your oil cooler set-up is working..
