Well - after 5 years slumming it in a rattly old Lotus Elise S1 - I've finally faced up to having a young family - and bought myself a car that I can fit the child seats in. It had to be an Alfa - a 156 Sportwagon Selespeed to be exact. In Africa Grey with leather upholstery.

I had a 1996 164 TS Super for 2 1/2 years before the Elise and it was the best car I ever owned. It feels right to be back in an italian car again - fingers crossed this one will be as good as the 164.

Any hints or tips on 156 ownership - especially Selespeed - greatly appreciated.
