Hi All,
It's time to get the S2 back out of the garage for the summer, but it's not well
It's a 1976 Spider Veloce 2000 with weber 40's with K&N Filters on it.
Symptoms are:
Engine Starts and runs but then cuts out again shortly afterwards, with smoke coming out of the Air Filters almost like it's backfiring?
. Altthough The carbs used to have a tendancy to Pop a bit .
Carbs sound muffled and not as noisy as they normally are.
Is this a timing issue or do I need to do something with the carbs? I've tried advancing and retarding the timing but no joy . Also replaced the spark plugs as the old ones were a bit messy.
