Re: autodelta carbon intake

Got my AD one this morning, second hand from Green Serpent for a good price (cheers mate! )

But I have to say, its made sweet F.A. difference, compared to the corrugated tin that it has replaced. Sounds about the same, throttle response is about the same (not that I could imagine it being any better), performance seems about the same.

So overall, a complete waste of money. If you want to replace the standard airbox, get a decent free flowing self-enclosed filter like the CDA and then any old bit of tubing to take it up to the intake.

Weekend toy: Alfa 156 3.0 24v V6, Silver with red leather, Q2 diff, GTA Teledials, headlights & inlet manifold, AutoDelta carbon intake, BMC CDA, decat pipe and SuperSprint rear box, FK coilovers, Dastek Unichip - my 245bhp beast!

Gone but not forgotten: Alfa 156 2.4 JTD Veloce, Vela Blu, Angel 'mad map' & BMC CDA, Ferodo DS2500s - the fastest tractor in town!
