Re: New backbox for 147JTD 8v

Hello Petko,
Thanks for the effort that you explain me some important details.
After your recommendation I will try to apply the BMC-CDA in my Alfa, especially because I was seeing on kgb.alfaromeo-bg.com/147tuning/stage10 three pictures with details for fitting of BMC-CDA. Almost everything is clear now...
Now, I have only small questions:
If I will keep the original intercooler, may I use:
a) the CDA85-150 (large type with better free-flow of the air and D1=85mm, D2=150mm, L1=200mm) or
b) the CDASP-08 - is it in your car? (medium type with good free-flow and with D1=70mm, D2=150mm, L1=160mm) or
b) the CDA70-130 (small type with fair free-flow and with D1=70mm, D2=130mm, L1=185mm).
Is it problem with the placement of the CDA85-150 in the proper position because of his dimensions or the reason for eventual problem is overmuch air intake for original intercooler?
My friend (with the experience in tuning) tell me that he may provide one larger intercooler (made in China) as replacement of the original IC. Is it allowable according to origin of this (for tuning purpose) vital part.

I know that my actual remap is with the modest power and torque gain and I hope that you help me in better solution. Thanks in advance.

Best regards from Dušan.
