Racing cars is a different story - if you were to replace your cams with racing cams and have a remap then you may start to be restricted by the gas flow, in and out. But then again, this is only if you can burn enough air/fuel quick enough, which is unlikely with the stock pressure regulator and injectors.
I know, but anything that is designed to work with your engine and let it breath a bit better can't be bad. I know every engine is different and I do love the sound of my car I want a nice rumble from mine nothing loud or crazy just a bit deeper

The car does have a fair few silencers in the system so freeing up a few would be good
And I will be doing head work and cams when I change my engine so it will be benefical

And my car regularly sees 7k
