I was talking about Alfas over the weekend with my mates on a bike ride:

If I wanted something faster I would have bought a Civic Type R
If I wanted something more economical I'd have had a 1.4TDi Polo,
More reliable/ cheaper to fix? I'd have a Golf or a Focus
Something my mates would 'respect'? Audi A3

But I didn't buy my car based on what my mates think or how cheap it is to fix, I love my 147, even the diesel has character, it's fun and fizzy, it's the best 'feeling' car I've ever found, especially with the remap!

BMW may have a better engine but an engine doesn't make a car. Technically there's nothing wrong with BMWs, they're technically brilliant but it's the roll-neck golf club image that goes with them that kills the cars, not surprising 90% of them are grey!
