Re: The *real* Q2 GTA
The final test for the Q2 - drove on greasy roads today. The kind where you want to drive normally because the surface is just a bit wet but with not much standing water, but where I find the GTA at its most skittish as it can really struggle to get grip. Well, as you would expect it was fine - I was able to accelerate smoothly without losing traction (even when turning) and it still sailed through twsity bits at speed. And I don't even have decent tyres - 3 P6000s and 1 Bridgestone inherited from the previous owner. I'm sure it will be even better with Gooodyears all round (will do when the current ones wear out).
But I'm sad as bella is in the bodyshop all week getting a full front end respray. Still, at least I will get a verdict on what is causing the rust on the front wing from an Alfa-approved bodyshop.
Cheers,
Nigel
