Maybe I'm talking out of my poop shoot here as I'm not up on this tuning scene but, as we all know, add a turbo to a naturally aspirated diesel and the power n performace is greatly increased. Now without doing anything else, add an intercooler to the outfit n boy oh boy does it blow it out of the water. The cooler keeps the air slightly moist and at a constant temp which improves performance and keeps it the same in all conditions. Ever noticed, your car performs better on a damp or rainy day than on a hot dry day ? Well, adding an intercooler gives you your personal damp day all the time no matter where you go!!!!
