Sounds about right ... my 156 2.0 TS would do exactly the same ... driving along the motorway would be about 75deg ... stop start would be about 90-95, when (sometimes) the fan would kick in ...

also in the winter I used to turn the car on, go back in the house, and by the time I'd had my breakfast (I eat quickly) it would be nicely defrosted and ready to go ...
