136bhp is a bit on the low side, that's why I thought it might be the car's wheel horse power. There could be lots of reasons why that is though, especially if the engine has done a lot of miles and its servicing hasn't quite been up to schedule.

Try some fuel system cleaner in your next tank of fuel, you might just have a slightly clogged injector.
