My car cannot select any gear when the engine is running, unless you remove a connection wire with code PF and put it back again then does it select a gear. Sometimes you can drive and without any problems but the problem willl eventually start again and have to remove the PF cable connection whilst someone will be trying to select the gears. You will finally select after a few tries. What does the PF cable do. I cannot say it is poor connection as wiggling it does not solve the problem but to remove and reconnect allows you to select gear.
