I agree with above post,that is just very poor service!
Why drive the car elsewhere to get a part fitted,specially when you know what it is?
I would get on the blower to ITAL,and ask for an explanation.
Do not let it go until your happy with the outcome and get that car running properly,you have shelled out enough money,you deserve it !
