I guarantee that you will just LOVE the transmission and engine on the M6!!!!! Though I haven't test driven an R8 yet, it sounds like that too, has an amazing transmission and engine - I like the way you can see the engine room like you can in a 430. A guy down the street took delivery of one about 2 months ago - can't say that I am impressed by the engine note from the street, though it sure is a car that draws a lot of attention from it's looks.
