To clarify, the gearbox / diff oil was very dark grey in colour which Ned said pointed to a lot of heat. Saying that, Clare has been known to dabble Scooby's and even a GT40 from time to time
Perhaps it was to be expected, even at 20k miles? (what's the change interval for gerabox oil
)
I do use ZX1 in my engines. In fact, I swear by it. The GT now gives c28mpg where it would give c24mpg before. It also revs more easily and just feels "better"
