I wouldn't bother with a remap unless you are serious about trackdays. For any barely legal road use, this car has more than enough power and it seems pretty smooth to me. Once you get used to it, my only complaint was that there was a bit of throttle lag low down (the response higher up is great) but I found that fitting an intake upgrade gave better throttle response. It makes it sound nicer as well.

I would spend your money on intake, brakes, dampers/springs/coilovers and even exhaust first. A remap is bound to make a dent on your premiums as well so there will be a cost there. But enjoy it whatever you do.
