Re: Sport Springs for 147 JTD 8v
8v JTD are 15mm higher then the petrol version, factory standard (not sure about the facelifted 147). So with the -30mm it should be -15mm compared to petrol version, BUT IMO it will lower the car more by about -25mm or so. So should be almost OK for our "perfect" roads.
About the powerflex. You will notice big improvement over standard bushes. The ride becomes actually better then before, Only when you are going over Rail roads (the rail is 2cm above the ground) you will fell like you are driving with 17inch wheels compared to 15inch wheels...if you get what I mean.
In any other case Powerflex should give you better comfort compared to factory bushes, at least in my opinion and couple of other friends with powerflex.
About noises, you won't hear anything if you fit them correctly. At about 30 000km's the front upper wishbone bushes might need lubricating. Meaning you take the wishbone out of the car, dismantle them, lubricate them again and put them back on the car.
You should bear in mind that with Powerflex bushes, your car's high will only depend on the springs and dumpers.
Overall the powerflex bushes will make the car much more stable and fun to drive.
It is good the recondition the front lower wishbones join bolts before installing powerflex.
