Hi Wingyfan.Your's is a V6 so will be different from mine.The air filter is'nt home made just part of the induction.There is an Autodelta kit for the V6 which i would go for if i had one.It has a carbon fibre induction tube with a high flow 'non oiled'filter.Here are a before and after pic's of what i did:
I will be looking at some point at replacing the stainless pipe and extending it all the way down to the MAF, and improve the intake pipe
