Thanks for the comment Arthur. Yes, mesh filters do sound fantastic. The car has a lovely growl in the lower rev band. I have used part of the standard air box as a temporary air feed but plan to put some piping in and run it from the orginal box to the new filter.
S-lover. Ur air box sounds like its mounted in the same place. I will try and take some pics for you but I think the best way to get the standard box out is to jack the car and remove the mud guard that way once its been unbolted you should be able to drop it out.
