Dont need to run it without the MAF as it is stainless mesh it isnt oiled.

I have a BMC sat here wating to be fitted but I too was thinking about a stainless mesh one because of the whole oil and Maf thing had one on the Evo for a while and they do sound good dont they.

Good on you for doing something different.

By the way did you install a cold air feed? Need to look at the GTV to see if I can sort something out.
