Just a quick comment about the karts, buiding etc. Everyone had their fair share of driving the "lemon" cars so that should equal everything up and that means it's either down to driver skill or good luck, as Ghosty suggets. If there had been the commitment from the start we would have got the premier track but some people were a bit slow in responding, including me, I was 19th. For £30, what do you want. As I said last night, it's a thankless task trying to organise events like this, because there will always be someone happier than someone else, but HM did a sterling job as usual which we recognised in the pub afterwards.
