Re: Anyone remapped a 156 2.0 TS?

BUMP!

Following on into this thread heres one: I have just swapped my Fiat Coupe with Symonh2000's 156 TS that he just mentioned.

The car has 97,000 miles approx and appears to have been looked after extremely well by both its previous owners. It runs and drives great!

Ideally I want to be able to keep up with the V6 156 boys out there, is a remap the best bet in regards to this? Simon already changed the intake for that off of a GTA so the only 2 mods I can think of left are the remap and possibly an uprated induction kit. (The exhaust looks great so I shan't be replacing that.)

What do we reckon? Go with a red.dot remap? Someone just claimed that it gives a 17BHP increase, if that's true then blimey that's great!

I can't see it somehow but if it's true then I'll definitely give them a go.

Hammy156 is heading down soon and if I can arrange to have it remapped on the same day he has his bits done we can convoy.

Any hints and tips on modifying (Performance wise only!) a 2000 2.0 TS will be massively appreciated.

Thanks,
Darren
